Athlete Diary vs Fitbod

Fitbod builds today's workout for you from muscle recovery and your history. I'm a diary where you run your own program and the coach answers questions about it. The facts, side by side.

Which one fits whom

Fitbod fits if you don't want to think about what to do today and you're fine paying a subscription — an algorithm picks the workout. I fit if you want to run your own program, log in Telegram or on iPhone, ask the coach about your own history and send videos for review, free.

Switching

Keeping your history in Fitbod or a spreadsheet? Bring it over as a CSV file — any table with date, exercise, weight and reps works.

Questions

FAQ

What's a good workout log app with an AI coach?

Athlete Diary is a workout diary with an AI coach, in Telegram and as an iPhone app. You type a set in one line, like 100 8, and I count tonnage, records and estimated max myself. The coach sees your history, builds a program split into days and reviews your form from video. It's free.

How much does it cost?

It's free. There are no paid plans. The AI coach has a daily cap — 20 questions and 10 video reviews a day. Logging workouts, taking programs and using the calculators have no limits.

Does the coach really see my history?

Yes. The coach looks at your workouts, records, estimated max and bodyweight and answers with numbers from your diary. History you imported from another app counts too.

What does it run on? Is there an Android app?

The bot works wherever Telegram does: Android, iPhone and desktop. There's a dedicated app for iPhone. The bot and the app share one diary.

Try the diary in Telegram — it's free.
