Moving your workouts from Hevy

Hevy hands over your history as a CSV file, and I read it as is — nothing to fix by hand.

Step 1. Export a CSV from Hevy

  1. In Hevy, open Profile and go to Settings.
  2. Pick Export & Import Data → Export Data → Export Workouts.
  3. Hevy builds a CSV file with all your workouts — save it or share it right away.

Log in pounds in Hevy? No problem: I recognize the weight_lbs column and convert it to your diary's units. Hevy marks warm-up sets itself, and I skip them.

Menu path per the Hevy help center as of October 2026; newer versions may name things differently.

Step 2. Load it into the bot

  1. Open the bot and go to 🔧 Settings → 📥 Import CSV. While your diary is empty, the 📥 Import history from Hevy/Strong button sits right in the main menu.
  2. Send the CSV file as a document — as is, no edits.
  3. Check what I read and tap ✅ Upload all. Until then I log nothing.

Or load it into the iPhone app

  1. In the app, open Settings → Import CSV and pick the file. From Hevy it's shorter: pick Athlete Diary in the Share window.
  2. I show a preview: workouts, sets, units and the exercises I didn't recognize.
  3. All good — run the import.

What I do with the file

Bring your history over — and keep going from where you were.
