JEFIT alternatives
JEFIT is big and long-running with a huge exercise library, but the free version has ads and the best parts are in Elite. Here's what else is out there — facts and prices. I'm first because it's my site.
Prices and plans as of October 2026, in US dollars. They may differ in other countries and in newer versions.
Why people look for a JEFIT alternative
Usually because of the ads in the free version, the Elite subscription for the features you want, and a crowded interface: when you just want to log a set, extra screens get in the way.
- 1
Athlete Diary
Price: free, no paid plans
A workout diary in Telegram and on iPhone with one shared log. A set is a line,
100 8, or a voice message; I work out tonnage, records and e1RM. The AI coach answers from your history, builds a program by days and reviews videos of your sets. History from Hevy, Strong and spreadsheets comes over as a file.Good for: people who want to log in Telegram or on iPhone and ask a coach about their own diary — without a subscription
- 2
Hevy
Price: free tier; Hevy Pro — $2.99 a month, $23.99 a year or $74.99 lifetime
A popular iPhone and Android tracker with a friends feed. Free gets you up to 4 custom routines and 3 months of charts. Hevy Trainer in Pro builds a program with an algorithm; CSV import from Strong is there.
Good for: people who want a standalone app with a social feed, Android included
- 3
Strong
Price: free version; Strong PRO — $4.99 a month or $29.99 a year
A minimal tracker for iPhone and Android. Free gets you unlimited workouts and up to 3 custom templates. CSV export, yes; no AI coach and no import.
Good for: people who want a simple, fast log with nothing extra
- 4
Fitbod
Price: $15.99 a month or $95.99 a year, 7-day trial
An algorithm builds today's workout from muscle recovery, history and equipment. It pulls workouts in from Apple Health and Strava.
Good for: people who don't want to run their own program and will pay for a ready workout every day
- 5
Boostcamp
Price: free; Boostcamp Pro — $59.99 a year or $14.99 a month
A library of ready programs from well-known coaches, with a tracker. Free gets you the programs, tracker, RPE and RIR, rest timers and PRs; Pro adds exclusive programs, a strength score and deeper analytics.
Good for: people who want to run a well-known ready-made program

A spreadsheet in Excel or Google Sheets
Price: free
Full control and no apps: a row per set, your own formulas. The downside — awkward to fill in between sets, and you do all the math yourself. My template is laid out so you can later upload it to the diary without edits.
Good for: people who love spreadsheets and want to keep the data themselves
Switching
Keeping your history in JEFIT or a spreadsheet? If you have it as a table (CSV) with date, exercise, weight and reps, upload it here through CSV import; you can undo an import for 30 days.
Try me first — switching takes a couple of minutes, and you can undo the import any time.
Prefer Telegram? Open the bot — same diary.
